Air pollution: Causes, Effects and Solutions

Pollution is the contamination of air, water or earth by harmful substances. but nowdays, we heard so many things about air pollution. Air pollution is the most harmful pollution than others. Before we go so far in this topic, we must know that air pollution got two type. The first type is primary air pollutants that caused by  primary sources or secondary sources. The second type is secondary air pollutants that are caused by the inter mingling and reaction of primary pollutants.

Many people do not know and do not care what is causes of air pollution. Air pollution got many causes but here we will highlight three of them. The first one is burning of fossil fuel. The example of fossil fuel are petroleum that used by motor vehicles. Increases of motor vehicles nowdays make the pollution getting worse. Next, exhaust from factories and industries. Manufacturing release a large amount of carbon monoxide especially at the countrysides. There is no side of world that affected by it. last but not least, open burning. It is a reaction of irresponsible people that burned their rubbish but not throw them at right place. It also a huge cause of air pollution.

The causes can  be affected as a air pollution. There are many effect but here we can know three of them. Firstly, acid rain. harmful gases that released into the air can combined with water when its rain. So, the rain can be acidic by this cause. Then, thinning the ozone layers. Use of Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) to the air can cause it the the ultraviolet rays (UV) can go through in ozone layers. Lastly, respiratory and heart problems that can cause Cancer. Several millions are known to have died due to direct or indirect effects of air pollutions.

Although there are many causes of air pollution, we as responsible people can avoid or overcome this pollution by do a bit solution. Example of the examples is use public mode of transportation. This can  decreased number of car in the world and can overcome this air pollution also sound pollution. Next, conserve energy. This solution can reduce the used of fossil fuel that burned to produced the electricity. Then, the understand of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). This can reduce the open burning activity that made by irresponsible people.

As we know that Malaysia now were having a worst haze, so as a responsible people we can make this better as do not making it worst by doing the irresponsible thing. We have to think the pros and cons of something before make it happen.
